WHAT VISAGUIDE ANALYSES

We go beyond generic visa requirements.

Every career profile is different. Your job title, salary, education level and years of experience determine which pathways are open to you and which are not.

Job title eligibility

We check whether your specific job title qualifies for the skilled worker, EU Blue Card or employment pass categories in each country. Generic occupation lists miss the nuance that specific titles either qualify or do not.

Salary thresholds by country

Every country sets minimum salary requirements for skilled migration. Netherlands requires different thresholds for under 30s and over 30s. Singapore thresholds scale with age. Germany sets different floors for STEM and non-STEM roles. We check yours against all of them.

Qualification recognition

A degree from your home country is not automatically recognised abroad. Germany checks through the anabin database. Australia requires a skills assessment. UK requires credential evaluation for some roles. We flag which recognition steps apply to your specific qualification.

Employer sponsorship requirements

Most skilled work visas require your future employer to be a registered sponsor. We identify which countries require this and which allow you to find a job after arriving. This affects your timeline significantly.

Processing times by profile

Visa processing times vary by nationality, role and current government processing backlogs. We surface realistic timelines for your specific combination rather than the best-case figures most guides quote.

Route to permanent residence

Some work visas lead directly to permanent residence. Others are temporary with no clear continuation route. We show you which pathway in each country gives you the long-term stability you are looking for.

WHAT MOST PEOPLE FIND OUT TOO LATE

The barriers that stop career migration that nobody tells you about upfront.

Your job title matters more than your job description

Two professionals doing identical work can have different visa eligibility based on their official job title. A Software Developer and a Software Engineer may fall into different occupation categories in Australia. A Clinical Nurse Specialist and a Registered Nurse have different recognition pathways in Canada. We check your specific title.

Salary thresholds increase every year

The salary you earn today may meet the threshold today but not in 12 months when you actually apply. Netherlands, Germany and Singapore all increased their minimum salary requirements in 2025. We use current thresholds, not figures from last year that most guides still publish.

Some pathways have nationality-specific backlogs

The US EB-2 and EB-3 green card categories have waiting times that differ dramatically by nationality. Indian nationals currently face backlogs exceeding 12 years. This is not a reason to avoid the US entirely but it fundamentally changes whether employment-based permanent residence is a realistic goal for your timeline.

WHAT YOUR REPORT SHOWS YOU

Personalised to your role, salary and career background.

When you complete the career pathway assessment VisaGuide generates a report specific to your profession. You will see which countries your job title qualifies for, the exact salary thresholds you need to meet, which recognition steps apply to your qualification, and the realistic timeline from application to arrival.

Your report does not show you what is possible in general. It shows you what is realistic for your specific combination of nationality, job title, experience and savings.

Country scores from 0 to 100 based on your actual career profile, not generic eligibility.

Specific barriers named for your nationality and job title combination, not generic warnings.
